NAVAL, BILIRAN – Samar State University (SSU) along with other member agencies represented by their Presidents, Vice Presidents for Research and Development, Deans, Research Directors, Regional Director and their specialists were all in attendance during the Eastern Visayas Consortium for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (EVCIEERD) Joint BOD-TWG Meeting on April 27-28 (22) in Biliran Province State University (BiPSU).
SSU President Dr. Marilyn D. Cardoso and SSU Vice President for Research and Extension Services Dr. Ronald L. Orale actively took part in setting programs, projects, activities that will impact the region along research and development.
During the meeting, the consortium’s accomplishments on the previous year were also presented and after deliberation, proposals for 2022 plans and programs were approved.
The consortium primarily aims to become relevant to the needs of the industry and energy sector of the region.
